The Sleepy QA Tester

Tom is a Software Testing QA tester in a small IT company. He works from home because he loves remote work. Every morning, his team has an online meeting at 9:00.

One Monday, Tom wakes up at 8:58.

“Oh no! The meeting!” he says.

Tom turns on his computer very fast. His colleague Anna says:

“Good morning, Tom! You look sleepy.”

Tom smiles and says:

“Yes… I am ready for work… maybe.”

The team talks about a new project for an important client. The manager gives Tom a task:

“Please test the mobile app before the deadline.”

Tom starts working. He drinks coffee. Then another coffee. Then another coffee.

After two hours, Tom finds a strange bug in the app.

When users press the green button, the app starts playing loud chicken sounds:

“BOK BOK BOK!”

Tom laughs very hard.

He writes a report to the developer:

Problem: The app becomes a chicken.

The developer answers:

Thank you. Very serious problem.

Later, the client joins another meeting.

The client asks:

“Is the project ready?”

Tom says:

“Yes! And now the app does not sound like a chicken.”

Everybody laughs.

At the end of the day, Tom is tired but happy. His team finishes the project before the deadline.

Tom closes his laptop and says:

“I love remote work… but tomorrow I need less coffee.”
