The Email That Started a Funny Bug
Emma worked as a QA tester in a software company.
One Monday morning she found a strange bug.
Every time users clicked the Login button, the website displayed a picture of a dancing penguin.
Emma immediately wrote a formal email.
The subject line was:
URGENT: Login Bug on Production
She carefully checked the recipient, attached screenshots as an attachment, and clicked "Send."
Ten minutes later, nobody answered.
Emma decided to reply to her own email with more information.
Still nothing.
Then her manager walked into the office laughing.
"Emma... you sent the email to Marketing instead of Development."
Emma looked at the recipient again.
"Oh no..."
She quickly forwarded the email to the developers.
One developer replied,
"Could you clarify how to reproduce the bug?"
Emma wrote detailed steps.
The team fixed the problem.
Before leaving work, Emma sent another email.
"Please confirm that the bug has been fixed."
Five minutes later she received a reply.
"Confirmed! The penguin has finally stopped dancing."
Emma smiled.
"Today was definitely more interesting than a normal Monday."
