🤖 The Script That Wanted a Coffee
Monday morning started badly.
Ben, an automation engineer, arrived at work and wanted to run tests before the daily meeting.
He opened his laptop, typed a command, and pressed Enter.
Nothing happened.
"Maybe the computer is still sleeping," Ben laughed.
He tried again.
Still nothing.
Finally, the script started.
But instead of testing the website, it opened twenty browser windows!
Each window displayed a picture of a dancing robot.
Ben looked at the screen.
"My script has a great sense of humour today!"
His colleague Emma walked over.
"Did you forget to debug it?"
Ben nodded.
"I think so."
Together they checked the framework, fixed one small mistake, and used Selenium to execute the tests again.
This time everything worked perfectly.
The tests finished successfully, and continuous integration accepted the build.
Ben smiled.
"I only wanted to run tests...
...not to organise a robot dance party!"
Everyone laughed, and the project was ready for release.
