From Manual Testing to Automation

Alex has worked as a manual QA tester for several years. He enjoys his job, but recently he has started thinking seriously about his career development.

He knows that the testing industry is changing, so he wants to develop his technical skills. His main goal is to move into automation testing.

First, Alex is improving his programming skills. He is also learning more about automation frameworks and API testing.

His manager has told him that there may be an opportunity for promotion if he takes more responsibility and develops his technical knowledge.

Alex knows that it won't happen immediately.

"If I study consistently, I'll become more confident," he says. "If I gain enough experience, I'll be ready to apply for an automation position."

He also wants to improve his English because he often communicates with international colleagues.

"If I improve my English, I'll be able to explain technical problems more clearly and participate more actively in meetings."

Alex understands that career development is a long-term process. He doesn't expect to become an automation expert overnight. Instead, he has created several realistic goals and plans to work on them step by step.
