🔥 1. Warm-up (10 min) — Real Life First

Ask:

  • How have you been feeling about your work recently? 😓

  • Have you been losing your drive lately?

  • What tasks have you been avoiding or delaying?

  • What have you tried to improve your situation?

👉 Push deeper:

  • “Since when has this been happening?”

  • “What has changed?”

📖 2. Reading (15 min)

Many people have attempted to build better habits, but they have struggled to maintain them. The main reason is simple: the process often feels dull, exhausting, or even frustrating. We tend to believe that drive comes first, but in reality, people act based on how they feel.

In recent years, researchers have been exploring how habits are formed and maintained. They have discovered that we are far more likely to repeat actions that feel appealing. However, modern life is full of temptation, which constantly distracts us and makes it difficult to stay focused.

As a result, many people experience an internal struggle between what they should do and what they want to do. To solve this problem, some individuals have been experimenting with a strategy known as “temptation bundling,” where they combine a necessary task with something enjoyable.

This idea has become especially relevant in the workplace. Many employees have been experiencing low levels of drive, particularly when tasks feel repetitive or overwhelming. Over time, they lose consistency, begin to delay important responsibilities, and feel even more stressed.

However, small changes can have a powerful effect. Some people have started listening to music while working, while others have been giving themselves small incentives after completing difficult tasks. These simple strategies make work more engaging and reduce resistance.

The key message is clear: if you want to change your behavior, you need to make the habit more appealing. Over time, your brain will begin to associate the task with something positive, and maintaining consistency will become easier.
